Top 5 Places to Visit In Myrtle Beach
When you’re an avid traveler you pick up and go during any season. However, traveling during the fall is a wonderful experience that you can’t get from traveling during any other season. If you’re thinking about traveling for the fall, but still want some sunshine and warmth, then I recommend traveling to Myrtle Beach in South Carolina. I absolutely loved the time I had visiting there twice and even wrote a blog post on My Time at Myrtle Beach when I visited the first time around with my boyfriend. Based off my two visits, I created this list on the top 5 places you need to visit in Myrtle Beach!
1. The Beach
Of course when you’re down in Myrtle Beach you have to check out the beach! You can walk along the sandy beach for miles, taking in the ocean view, and enjoying the pleasant weather the south has to offer. Out of my two visits, the only time I went into the water was in May/June as in November I felt the water was a bit too chilly for me. Regardless, going to the beach is top on the list of things to do!

2. Broadway at the Beach
Broadway at the Beach is a popular tourist destination in Myrtle Beach. It’s a cute little area with a wide range of shops, restaurants, attractions such as the Mirror Maze and Water Park, entertainment, and so much more! When walking through here, you’ll find things you didn’t know you even needed, eat some cherry flavored popcorn, visit a water park, and end your day with dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe.

3. Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum
If you’re into weird, bizarre, and interesting things like myself than you’ll enjoy your time at the Ripley’s museum! Remember the show from your childhood? I know I remember! Well, if you travel to Myrtle Beach you’ll get the chance to see in person the things they showed and discussed on the show.
There’s even a few cool things to try out in there. In one section, the floor sort of drops from beneath you when you step on the platform (it scared me the first time it happened!) In another section, you get to walk through a swirling, warping tunnel, and so much more! It’s an awesome experience and I recommend you check it out if you’re in Myrtle Beach.
4. Tanger Outlets
Of course I have to include some type of shopping in this list. I love shopping and buying souvenirs when I travel. If you love it as well, then you have to check out the Tanger Outlet in Myrtle Beach. There’s a couple of cute touristy shops where I got my souvenirs from but there’s also name brand shops such as Nike, Under Armour, Old Navy, Calvin Klein, and more.
5. The Market Common
The Market Common is another little area for shopping. There’s a variety of indoor and outdoor shopping, cute little boutiques, restaurants, and entertainment such as bowling and the movies! When my friend and I went, there wasn’t much open due to the pandemic. However, I’ve included it on this list because of the overall appeal and scenery. When walking around, it makes you feel like you’re in a little town with very nice shops. It feels big yet small at the same time. Coupled with the beautiful area that surrounds the place, it’s quite a lovely place to visit when you’re in Myrtle Beach.

A visit to Myrtle Beach will make anyone’s visit a time to remember!
